Cruise the legendary U.S. Route 66, one of the original highways in the U.S. Highway System! This legendary old road passes through the heart of the United States on a diagonal trip that takes in some of the country’s most classic roadside scenes. Starting in Chicago going all the way to Los Angeles, this is over a 2,000 mile road trip! 

With a lot of road to explore, start traveling this legendary old road in the amazing Albuquerque , New Mexico and end at the gateway to the Grand Canyon, Williams Arizona!  If you drove straight it would only take about 7 hours.  But we provide a ton of stops and things to do, so you can easily make this a week or more road trip.  

Albuquerque is home to the nation’s longest continuous stretch of Route 66 within a single city, and late 2022 will bring the opening of the Route 66 Visitor Center at 12200 Central Ave. SW. The 21,000-square-foot, multipurpose center will include an event hall, outdoor amphitheater, Route 66 museum, taproom and gift shop.
